Atlanta, GA – November 8, 2010 - Northstar Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of management software and technology solutions for membership clubs, has named Charles Sowers as regional director of sales. Charles will be responsible for new business development including customer acquisitions, and managing existing customers primarily in the Eastern States Region.
Charles has been involved in technology for more than 20 years. His experience began with almost 10 years as a computer systems network administrator and network engineer. He then advanced to the application software side of the business, and for the past 10 years has served first as customer support representative, and then as a sales manager for club management software. Charles is responsible for developing new business in the Eastern United States for Northstar.

Before joining Northstar, Charles served for four years as National Accounts Sales Manager for Integrated Business Systems (IBS). For three years prior he served as the Mid-Atlantic Account Manager for IBS. Prior to joining IBS, Charles worked for Worldcom as a network engineer, and started his IT career with Signet Bank as a network administrator. Charles also served honorably in the United States Air Force.
