Prasad Suryadevara - Chief
Executive Officer
In 2002, Prasad founded Northstar to bring state of the art technology to the club industry. As a founder, Prasad has been involved in Northstar from the very beginning, focusing on the product roadmap, sales and marketing.
Prasad after finishing his Masters in Computer Science at Florida Tech, started his professional career at AT&T Universal Card Services in 1990, where he served as the Architect and Technical Lead for AT&T's Universal Windows (UWIN) project for Customer Service that won the world's most prestigious Malcolm Baldridge Quality Award. After his stint with AT&T, Prasad played a key role in Motorola's joint venture with Imonics to develop a Document Management and Workflow Automation product. .
In 1997, Prasad founded Spectrum Technologies, a systems integration company and successfully expanded operations to 12 countries to serve several multinational companies. Under Prasad's leadership, Spectrum pioneered in building large-scale mission-critical business and operation support systems for Telecom companies like Vodaphone, British Telecom, and Verizon.
Imran Balkhi - Director of Product Development / CTO
Imran has over 15 years of experience in developing
enterprise resource planning and billing solutions.
As
one of the co-founders of Northstar, he is responsible for the product
roadmap, product planning and strategy, and the technological framework
supporting the Northstar platform.
He
works closely with customers to gather their requirements and ensures
that the Northstar product addresses the unique needs of the private
clubs.
Imran was the Billing Systems Manager at Dialog Information Services, the leading
information retrieval company in the world. He ensured that $350 million of revenue
was billed properly and that the company maintained its competitive edge by supporting
innovative pricing plans for the professional searchers.
Imran received his Bachelors of Science degree
in Computer Science from San Jose State University.
Shehzad has over 10 years of experience providing
help and advice to customers using the Northstar product
and services.
Shehzad
is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the support
team and is involved in additional customer-related activities.
Prior
to Northstar, Shehzad helped develop and implement business applications
for large financial institutions in Asia. While with Northstar, he
has been in software development, system implementation, end-user
training, customer relations and project management.
Shehzad is a graduate of Karachi University with
a Major in Software Engineering and is based out of Northstar’s corporate
office in Atlanta, GA.
Karen brings over 15 years of operational, financial
and customer-facing experience in the private club industry.
She is responsible for customer-facing programs such as the User Group Conference and actively works with the existing Northstar user base to develop additional training programs and product initiatives to respond to changing industry and customer requirements.
Prior to joining Northstar, Karen was the Club Controller at The University Club at the University of Missouri. Her skills and industry involvement extend to the Hospitality Financial & Technology Professionals (HFTP) where she served as Vice-Chair of the Pro Links Club Finance Committee in 2003.
Karen began her career in New South Wales, Australia.
Salman has over 8 years of experience consulting
in software development, system implementation, end-user training,
customer touch-point servicing and project management.
He
is responsible for Professional Services and related activities including
overall planning for new customer implementations. Salman is also
part of the Consulting, Implementation and Business Analysis team.
Prior to Northstar, Salman was a Research and Development
Engineer for Irell and Manella LLP in Los Angeles, CA. Salman has
also worked for the USC Department of Public Safety in Los Angeles
and Siemens Engineering Co. Limited in Karachi, Pakistan.
Salman is a graduate of the University of Southern California, Los Angeles with
a Major in Engineering and a minor in Project Management and is based out of
Northstar’s corporate office in Atlanta, GA.
For over 25 years Don has been providing technology to the hospitality industry. He began his career at Country Club Systems in 1986 and has focused on delivering high-quality solutions to his clients. Don is responsible for strategy and execution of marketing initiatives, corporate brand development as well as new account sales activities in the Eastern Atlantic Region.
Before joining Northstar, Don served as a Sales Manager for Integrated Business Systems and as the company’s Director of Product Development. Don is a board member of several HFTP chapters, and is active in the CMAA.
Bill brings over 13 years of sales and customer service experience in Enterprise IT Consulting and Club Management Software industries. Bill is responsible for developing new business in the Mid West/Great Lakes Region of the United States for Northstar.
Prior to joining Northstar, Bill was and Account Manger for Wolcott Group with primary responsibilities of developing new enterprise level business and account management. For 12 plus years prior to Wolcott Group, Bill held various roles with Gary Jonas Computing and Smyth Systems in the Club Management Software industry including sales, customer service, system implementation and operations management.
Brian has been involved in the hospitality and club industry for over 25 years. His experience has been as a restaurateur, in private club management, and for the last fifteen years as a systems analyst for club management software providers. Brian is responsible for developing new business in the Western United States for Northstar.
Before joining Northstar, for many years Brian served within the club industry as Western U.S. Sales Manager for Integrated Business Systems (IBS). For seven years prior to joining IBS, Brian worked for Abacus 21, in a capacity which encompassed sales as well as installation & training throughout the western hemisphere at some of the most prestigious clubs. Andrew Bulloch - Texas, Mexico, Canada, Caribbean & South Central US Sales Manager
As a 15 year veteran in the club industry, Andrew has helped hundreds of clients make educated software decisions. He began his career as a trainer for Diamond Management Systems and has continued serving the needs of clubs as an account representative. He is an active member of the Austin, TX chapter of the HFTP.
Andrew spends his free time playing hockey, rugby and squash. He obtained a degree in Psychology from the University of Western Ontario and holds dual citizenship in the United States and Canada.
Andrew represents Northstar in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Kansas, New Mexico, Nebraska, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
Jeffrie began his career as a golf professional in 1990 and is a Class A Member of the PGA of America. Throughout his management career his primary focus was on increasing operating efficiency, while not negatively impacting service and presentation. Jeffrie has worked directly for, or with, more than fifteen facilities during his management career, and has installed or upgraded integrated technology at eight of them.
Jeffrie is an active PGA Member, serving on multiple committees with the Tennessee PGA Section, and is also an active HFTP Member serving as the President for the Tennessee Chapter.
The majority of his free time is spent with his family on a small horse farm just North of Nashville, Tennessee.
Jeffrie represents Northstar in Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Southern Missouri, and Southern Indiana.
Rick has served the Hospitality Industry for over 20 years. His experience includes restaurant & dining room management, software sales, technology consulting, and web design. Throughout his career in the club business, he has worked with several solution-oriented firms in the industry. He has conducted education sessions for the CMAA and is an active member of the HFTP, where he currently serves as the Vice President of the Florida Gulf Coast Chapter.
